I served at Clark AFB from 1961 to 1963 with Col. Fullam when he was flying F100's for the 510th TFS. I was the base ammo officer and therefore knew most of the pilots. He was a true standout and a real friend to everyone. His death came 4 yrs. after I left the Air Force but he and his family have remained in my thoughts 'lo these many years. I have just returned from a visit to Clark and he was very much on my mind while there as well as my other pilot friends who lost their lives in that insane war
